    Parents of Riverdale kindergartner pushed by teacher charged with child endangering

    Parents of the child who was seen in video being pushed against a wall by a Riverdale School teacher earlier this year are now faces charges of their own. According to the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, 6-year-old Ian Nelson called police on Monday morning when he woke up to find he was home alone. The child told authorities his parents were at work. Anthony and Autumn Nelson have been charged with child endangering.

    Parents Of Child Grabbed By Former Riverdale Teacher Charged With Child Endangerment

    The parents of a child who was picked up and held against a wall by a Riverdale Elementary teacher have been charged with child endangerment. Toledo News Now reports Anthony E. and Autumn Nelson were arrested and charged Monday with child endangerment. Wyandot County Sheriffs responded to a 9-1-1 call from the child, 6-year-old Ian, who told dispatchers that he woke up and his parents had left he and his brother alone.

    Parents who had accused teacher get charged too

    The parents of a Riverdale Local kindergartner who appeared to be pushed on videotape by a teacher have been charged with child endangering after they left their sons home alone, according to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office. Autumn and Anthony Nelson were charged with child endangering after they apparently left their 8-year-old and 6-year-old sons home alone for about an hour Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson of Wharton had voiced frustration earlier this year with what they considered lax punishment for Barb Williams, a Riverdale kindergarten teacher seen using force on a surveillance video this spring. Ms. Williams resigned from the district and was charged with child endangering. That case is pending.
