    Written rules lacking for teacher-student communication

    There are no policies in place in the Fargo and West Fargo public school districts to address when it is appropriate for teachers to communicate with students outside of the classroom, though Moorhead School District has some policies on electronic communication and social media meant to deal with such situations. Teacher handbooks and policies in the metro may end up being rewritten, as administrators and school board members look to guide employees away from legal trouble.
