Thanks for the update: A former Corning East High health teacher who traded sexually explicit text messages with a student last winter was sentenced Tuesday to 15 days in jail. Teri Decker, 40, of Elmira, will begin serving her term Sept. 28 at the Steuben County Jail. She was also sentenced to three years of probation by Corning City Judge Robert Cole.
