TEACHERS: Several teachers were found absent from duty when district education officer Nazir Ahmad Khan paid surprise inspection visits to schools in Tajori on Saturday. The visits were arranged following complaints that many teachers posted in schools in rural areas often remained absent from duty. The district education officer visited primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools in Bachkan Ahmadzai, Tajori, Dharaka Aziz Khan and other rural localities.
