    Ohio officer accused of exposing self, urinating on 12-year-old girl while trying to kidnap her


    A Cleveland police officer was indicted Wednesday, accused of trying to kidnap a 12-year-old girl. According to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, it happened August 16 on Euclid Avenue in the City of Euclid. The victim was waiting for a school bus when she was approached by Solomon Nhiwatiwa, 34, and off-duty Cleveland police officer, the prosecutor’s office said. Nhiwatiwa allegedly tried talking to the girl and asked her if she needed a ride to school. The girl refused and Nhiwatiwa drove away.     Prosecutor: Patrol officer accused of trying to entice child


    Authorities say an off-duty Cleveland police officer has been charged with attempted kidnapping for trying to entice a 12-year-old girl who was waiting for a school bus. Thirty-four-year-old Solomon Nhiwatiwa was arrested Tuesday by Euclid police. Court records show Nhiwatiwa was indicted Wednesday on charges that include attempted kidnapping, child enticement, indecent exposure, pandering obscenity involving a minor, assault and endangering children. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office says the Aug. 16 encounter began with Nhiwatiwa asking the girl if she wanted a ride while she was waiting for a bus in a Cleveland suburb.
