    School officials say Huntington High teacher accused of anti-Muslim tweets suspended

    Cabell County school officials said a Huntington High School social studies teacher has been suspended with pay after they discovered several anti-Muslim tweets on her personal Twitter account. Cabell County Schools Communications Director Jedd Flowers said the inappropriate tweets were discovered on Mary Durstein's accounts. Durstein will have a hearing before Cabell Schools Superintendent William Smith. The Cabell County Board of Education will then vote publicly on his recommendations. Flowers said school officials asked Durstein to delete the account and she complied.

    West Virginia school officials asked a teacher to delete her Twitter account over racially-charged messages posted on the social media platform.
