Police: Middle school teacher charged with child neglect According to an arrest report, 58-year-old Robert Pruitt's wife discovered text messages, emails and Facebook chats that alluded to a sexual relationship between Pruitt, [Kimberly] Honaker and a 13-year-old girl. The messages were found when Pruitt went to live with Honaker in Apopka. Police said they interviewed Honaker, who is Pruitt's girlfriend, about the incidents, but she denied the allegations. Report: Apopka Middle teacher accused of child neglect According to a police report, [Kimberly] Honaker, 48, and Robert Pruitt, 58, engaged in sexual activity with the girl. Officers were tipped off by Pruitt's wife of 18 years, who found Facebook messages, texts and emails that alluded to an improper sexual relationship, the report states. The Pruitts lived together in Ocala until May 1, when he moved to Apopka to live with Honaker, an old flame, the report shows. The house where Honaker and Robert Pruitt were living was filthy, contained 20 dogs and has no air conditioning, according to the report. Police late Tuesday re-arrested Honaker on charges of lewd or lascivious molestation and use of a child in a sexual performance. She was arrested Saturday on a child-neglect charge.
