Zucco said [John] Summerson allegedly sexually abused the girl in the first half of February, and then had sexual intercourse with her during the second half of the month. The second sexual abuse charge also stems from that incident. The child endangerment charges involve a conversation on sexual topics that Summerson had in early March with the alleged rape victim and another girl about the same age ... Police said the sex was consensual, except for the fact that the age of consent in New York is 17, meaning any intercourse with a person under that age is considered statutory rape.
