Jennifer M. Horton, 27, of 515 Burncoat St., faces charges of armed robbery (firearm) after turning herself in to police yesterday morning.

Both used the words "shock," "surprise" and "disturbing" last night to describe allegations that Marshall sixth-grade teacher Jennifer Horton stuck a gun in a man's face in a car in Worcester on Friday and robbed him of money and prescription drugs. ... Police met a 54-year-old man who told them he was sitting in the back of a car driven by Horton when both she and another man allegedly stuck guns in his face. While Horton kept a gun on the victim, the alleged accomplice took his prescription medication and money after stopping near his home, police said. The victim also told police he knows Horton's male accomplice, who was seated in the front passenger seat initially. According to police, the man then sprayed the alleged victim in the face with pepper spray. After the alleged victim got out of the vehicle, the suspects sped off, according to police.

The other man was allegedly an accomplice and took the drugs and cash. The victim told police the man sprayed him with pepper spray, but he was able to escape from the car.

Andrew Pasquale of West Boylston was held on $20,000 bail at his arraignment on charges of armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in court on Wednesday ... WHDH said:

A 27-year-old teacher at Marshall Middle School in Billerica faces serious charges after police say she held a gun to a man's head and robbed him ... Investigators say it all happened near Vernon St. in Worcester last week. They say the victim was sitting in the back seat of a car driven by Horton. The male passenger -- who was sitting in the front seat -- was an acquaintance of the victim. Police said Horton pulled a gun on the victim and demanded his money and prescription pills. The male passenger allegedly searched the victim, took the money and medication, and then pepper sprayed him.
