Larkin would take the child to "Dad Club" meetings and other recreational activities. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, on March 7th, 2014 when the student's mother was out of town for the weekend, Larkin ended up babysitting. During that evening, Larkin entered the child's room, laid down beside him and put his hands down the front of the child's pants. He then began inappropriately touching him. Tampa Day School principal arrested for molestation Larkin, 63, was arrested Thursday at his home at 4612 Ferdinand Ave. South in Tampa for molestation on a 14-year-old, according to HCSO. According to HCSO, one evening, when the boy's mother was out of town for the weekend, Larkin came into the boy's room, laid down next to him and put his hands down the boy's pants. He began touching the teen inappropriately, the boy complained and Larkin stopped. Larkin walked out of the room. After the deputies launched the investigation, they recorded a phone call between Larkin and the teenager when Larkin admitted to touching the boy. Deputies: Principal at Tampa Day School molested student According to an arrest report, Larkin befriended the student and acted as a surrogate father after the boy's father died. He accompanied the child to recreational activities, the report states. A Sheriff's Office spokesman said Larkin babysat the teen and his siblings while the student's mother was out of town March 7. About 10 p.m. that day, Larkin entered the boy's room, began to rub his leg and put his hands down the boy's pants, the arrest report shows.
