    School District denies allegations in former teacher's lawsuit

    A former Spartanburg County teacher has filed a lawsuit against School District One and the superintendent. Michael Cash accuses the district of altering the grades of two students who were allegedly caught cheating. Cash, a 13-year engineering instructor at Swofford Career Center, alleges that he caught two students cheating on their final exam last May. Both students were given a retest, but only one child showed up. That student received a grade of 25, while the other student was given a zero.
