Former sheriff's office volunteer charged with sexual assault of a child

A former Harris County Sheriff's Office volunteer and his common law-wife are accused of having sex with a teenager. Charles Francis Walker was dismissed from his volunteer role Tuesday following his arrest, according to the sheriff's office. According to court documents obtained by KPRC-TV, Walker and his common-law wife, Veronica Torres Trevino, are accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl. The news station reports Trevino told the girl to keep her real age hidden from Walker.
