Aberdeen Times: School Employee Held On $1,000,000 Bond For Sex Offense With Student (May 8 2013) Gregory Kurt Smith, age 50, from a Flynn McPherson Road address in Cameron was arrested today for the five charges that are dated March and April 2013. The victim was reported to be a 17 year old female from Pinecrest High School. Mr Smith was a teacher at Southern Middle School in Aberdeen, however he no longer works for the schools effective May 8th 2013. He was arrested by the Moore County Schools Special Police and transported to the Moore County Detention Center in Carthage where he was held under a $1,000,000.00 secure bond.
