Death of Joy Gardens pupil: Court allows arrested directors, teachers to access the school

Two directors and three teachers of Joy Garden Primary School who had been arrested following the death of a pupil can now access the school. This is after the court varied its earlier orders which had blocked them from visiting or going near the institution located in Nairobi's Umoja-Tena area. The five are Jane Waithera Kimani, James Mungai Gachimo, Caroline Nthio Matheka, Anthony Mwangi Kimani and Vanice Kerubo Bosire.
