    Cybersecurity: Expert advice to keep kids safe on social media

    It’s the story that rocked a local community. The FBI released allegations that said 40-year-old Seaman High School teacher Jeff Pierce created fake social media accounts posing as a teenage girl on various sites to ask minors for explicit photos and videos. “It was very shocking, like, I didn’t believe it at first,” said Jared Kerr, former Seaman High School student. The Topeka teacher was arrested Wednesday for producing and possessing child pornography. Pierce pleaded not guilty to the charges on Thursday, and was fired from the high school the next day.
