Former BCHS coach under investigation for possible relationship with student

Former Baker High coach and science teacher Adam Brunner is being investigated by the Baker County Sheriff’s Office for possibly having a sexual relationship with a student. He resigned this week after being told he was under investigation, Superintendent Sherrie Raulerson reportedly told The Florida Times-Union. Sheriff Joey Dobson confirmed yesterday Mr. Brunner was being investigated and that the case began Wednesday morning. He would not confirm the exact nature of the crime or crimes Mr. Brunner is suspected of committing, however.

Mr. Brunner’s criminal history includes two driving on a suspended license cases, and possession of alcohol by a person under 21. Back in August he was stopped at the wheel by Florida Highway Patrol for speeding and later pleaded no contest to the license charge, court records show. He received fines and probation. He was caught driving without a valid license again in Baker County a little over of a month later. That case is still pending.
