A broadcast reporter was pushed to the ground, handcuffed and arrested for trespassing Wednesday while covering a news conference about the derailment of a train carrying toxic chemicals in Ohio. NewsNation posted video of correspondent Evan Lambert being arrested in the gymnasium of an elementary school in East Palestine where Gov. Mike DeWine was giving an update about the accident. Charges dropped against NewsNation reporter arrested at Gov. DeWine press conference

Attorney General Dave Yost said Wednesday that his office is dropping the charges against a NewsNation reporter who was arrested while covering the train derailment in East Palestine. NewsNation correspondent Evan Lambert was pushed to the ground, handcuffed and arrested Feb. 8 while reporting on a news conference by Gov. Mike DeWine on the derailment.
